Seriously, why does Godzilla VS Hedorah get so much hate? I mean, think about the things we love about classic Godzilla movies. Plenty of monster vs monster action? It's got that. Clever and bizzarre visuals? In spades! Playful gore? Absolutely. Creative monster design? Yep, and with multiple monster transformation bonuses!

Mainly because it's weird even for a Godzilla movie and has a very uneven tone. It doesn't know what it wants to be, a kids movie or a more adult film, so it's just all over the place. I do consider it a guilty pleasure though and accept it's faults because it does one thing exceptionally right.
