Eh, The only really good Kong films are the original, King Kong vs. Godzilla, and maybe the new one they made in 2005. King Kong Lives, King Kong Escapes though...ehh...not as good.

(And strange due to the fact I bought a copy of Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla (1970's...) and rented recently a copy of King Kong Vs. Godzilla, King Kong (Pete Jackson Verson) and King Kong Escapes....lol)

Hmmm, I wonder what it would look like with a climactic battle between Kiryu and your version of a "Millennium/Modern" Mechanikong?

Oh, wow, that looks awesome, both robots looks so powerful, shiny and imposing, and the motion of the whole battle is wonderfully done. Shining light, billowing smoke, flaming fire, splashing water, the tipping ice flow and other markers of motion make the battle between them so very dynamic. You definitely know who to draw art in motion very well.
It looks like it will be an epic battle of steel and titanium, my money is on Mecha-Godzilla, as he is stronger and has such a large arsenal, and many of Mechani-Kong's weapons are suited to fighting King Kong and would not work on Mecha-Godzilla. So like the flesh and blood counter parts, I'd put my money on the dinosaur over the ape.
