I might be putting too much thought into this, but I'm afraid Mecha Godzilla would have a major edge in this battle and not just from his massive arsenal. But also from the fact that he was constructed from alien technology, the alloy he's composed of alone would probably make him resistant to most of Mechani Kong's attacks. Mechani Kong on the other hand was a earth bound robot...though I could perhaps see Dr. Who maybe some how having salvaged the remains of Mecha Godzilla from his second clash with Godzilla and spring boarding off of that for Mechani Kong's construction, that could even things out.

yea, Mecha Kong was in the Toho movie (that I dont think saw an oversea release untill recently) called "King Kong Escapes". It was a very interesting twist to the kong saga and was relatively well made for being a Toho Kong movie

Yes there was in King Kong Escapes...while like most Kaiju films at the time, it was a taaad cheesy, it still introduced us to Kong's robotic double.
