Yup, Diablo required an overhaul.
Let's face it, the bugger is little more than a clone of Sauron, design-wise, from the original game. True, he had his own attacks and movie list, but his look always bugged me, especially since I have a soft spot for him So, I thought to myself "How could I make Diablo more 'evil'?"
The answer was quick and simple: horns and spikes. And what theropods have horns and spikes? Ceratosaurus, Allosaurus, and Carnotaurus, to name a few. So, I combined aspects of all three into one hell-beast of infinite RAGE

Diablo, for those of you who don't know, is a mighty Dino God, and evil incarnate. He lives to destroy, burn and massacre, and after he awoke during the great Cataclysms, set upon his dark work.
Diablo rules a patch of land off the coast of the new continent, which he created out of erupting volcanoes and destructive earthquakes.
His prized human servant and avatar to his strength is General Sinjin, a mighty warrior and a brilliant tactician, and equal only to Diablo in bloodlust and wickedness.
Diablo himself has little more than hatred for all of the other gods, yet particuarly hates Sauron and Blizzard. He believes that Sauron is too merciful for a creature so like himself, and simply despises Blizzard for both his ice element and his benevolent, justice-oriented lifestyle. He cannot stand the youthful Talon, would see Chaos set ablaze for his filth, could care less about Slashfang, and finds Armadon to be little more than a tree-hugging nuisance.
Vertigo holds Diablo's interest, however, as he has in the past formed an alliance with the sorcerous. However, as with all evil alliances, it is fraught with deception...
