Incredibly successful territorial herbivores, the Invictasaurus is a species of armored kaiju that's fossils show has remained largely unchanged for 68 million years. While their imposing defenses are a deterrent enough, Invictasaurs live and travel in herds to keep their less armored young safe from attack. Once an Invictasaur reaches sexual maturity, their armored plating fully hardens, and little other than age, starvation, or disease can cause their death. Grasslands and sparse woodlands are where these behemoths call home, where they absentmindedly feed on ferns and shrubbery. They dig shallow pits to lay their soft-shelled eggs, and cover them in dirt to keep them moist. Invictasaurs stand guard over their eggs, and carefully watch over their children for the first three to four years of their life.

These stocky quadrupeds have broad, robust bodies protected by a layer of protruding bone scutes embedded in their skin. On their faces, three large pointed horns extend forward, making an imposing weapon. Attacking from behind is no safer either, as four sharp, foot-long thagomizers extend from their tails that can be swung at attackers. Invictasaurs keep a low stance, allowing them to browse indiscriminately on low vegetation, and prevents them from easily being tipped over. Their bright red faces and frills are a threatening display to predators, and a means of attracting mates.
