I LOVE the subtle shading and shines on the brain, it looks super detailed and yet simple at the same time. I think this one is my new favorite of the ones you've done. ^^

I was actually thinking I should fiddle with it and make the shading a little darker, but the highlights are on the same layer.

I personally have taken a liking to subtle shading on pale colors, but you could probably use the select tool on the purple shadows and recolor them without damaging the white.
