What if there was more contrast between their yellow and the orange outline, or I made the outlines black?

The contrast would probably look really good, because I didn't even know they were two different colors until you told me. Personally, I would thin them out so that there are not so many stars, because the sheer magnitude of them is a little bit cluttered.
