Originally, I had personal plans to write Godzilla (Heisei) vs. Evangelion (Units 00/01/02) as part of the KWC. While there is no match written for it, my personal idea was to have Godzilla and Unit 01 evolve over the course of the match; so say, Godzilla vs. the three Units, then Burning Godzilla vs. Berserk Eva-01 (the former dispatching Unit 00 in the process), then climaxing with Super Godzilla vs. Awakened Eva-01 (at the cost of Unit 02). But now due to the recent information of games such as City Shrouded in Shadow and Battle Soccer having no direct Toho involvement, the Evangelions (with Units 00, 01, and 02 being merged as one character slot like what we did with the Male and Female MUTOs) will not be participating in the KWC. I might write this match myself some time in the future, but who knows for sure.

And for anyone curious, as far as the winner was concerned... Well, I hadn't fully decided on who I wanted to win. Until I start fleshing out the storyline to see who would be thematically justified, part of me really wants Godzilla to be victorious. This could change if I get around to it, though.
