One big stamp, but I guess it works. I've seen larger.
But with Gabara, I actually think he's COOL. Yeah, that's right. The four forbidden letters for this particular kaiju. C-O-O-L. Sure he may look stupid, but think of all he has to offer. I mean, look at Godzilla. He was serious, then a children friend, then back to his serious roots again. My point? Gabara can become serious too, especially after his appearance in GODZILLA X THE KAIJU KILLER, that's when I really became big on him. :3 So don't think that Gabara has to be a silly frog-cat-ogre thing, he can be a lot more than just that.

While not a favourite of mine, I do admit, Gabara is a really cool monster in his own way.

I actually like Gabara. Sure he has some negative aspects, but overall, he is an Awesome Kaiju. And besides, who wouldn't want his Electric Powers?

Ah, I see. And it's no surprise, there will be haters. I like Gabara, you don't. It's as simple as that, really.

then you will probably be very happy with the direction i took with him in my G-series doujinshi manga. Instead of rather beeing a bully to Minya(who does not appear), Gabara is actually the most vile, cruel and nightmarish of the kaiju. He claims himself as the master of fear, and he pretty much lives up to it. He can cause you terrifyingly atrocious nightmares, (humans and kaiju alike). Apart from that he has a sadistic psychotic nature, and he can even cause kaiju like Destroyah disgust. Destroyah actually made two gashes on Gabara's chest so deep, part of his ribcage was visible, and his only response was "ow... you cut me... That wasn't very nice >BD" Destroyah was shocked and disgusted. Another thing, he is almost inmortal. You can kill him as many times as you want(he dies like 3 or 4 times), but as long as his name is feared by any kind of sentient beeing, he will keep returning to haunt the world again. He's like a kaiju Freddy Kreuger and one of the most dangerous antagonists of the doujin

Though what is a doujin, exactly? Heard it before, but never really got the term...

its the term they use for fan-made manga comics and yes i actually though Gabara was interesting but his role wasnt so good per say, so i made him more frightening. As i read on a pic, "never pick on weak kaiju, because they might resurrect one day as complete bad asses". That pretty much applies alot of showa monsters in my doujin, including the Ultraman monsters i added(the doujin is also a crossover between the Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman monsters. Pacific Rim kaiju also appear, and some of my personal creations appear as wellΒ

Gabara isn't my fave monster but I agree that he could conceivably be remade into something more menacing if done correctly, just like many other monsters have been in the past.
I like Minya too, but I like the Heisei series Godzilla Junior and his Baby & Little forms better personally (just cause they look more like the Big G himself & are overall more realistic looking). Plus...JUNIOR BECAME THE NEW KING! LONG LIVE GOJIRA! lol

Believe me, I know. But Rockor inspiration is still not kicking in. There will be that time... Maybe when (at the max) G 2012 comes along, or even a new COOL kaiju flick, but otherwise its going to be on hold for a while... Wait, weapons? What kind of weapons? i wonder if they could come up with a new baby Godzilla or they do the whole guardian concept and that earth's guardians were defeated and killed and so new kaiju took their place to help the earth because it's their home
