Thanks so much! Yeah, I was actually rather surprised by how it came out, usually I'm done taking pictures in November but the atmosphere and lighting in a lot of these late-season shots turned out to be very interesting. The backgrounds become much more somber and gray because there aren't any more leaves to catch the light and take photos against.Β

I have been gone some time working on other projects, and logged back on to see so much gorgeous art from you!! Your work has always been wonderful, but this one has to be my favorite. The leaves are so bright against the background. The faces almost look like they're glowing, and the job you did drawing them is superb. Such peaceful expressions against darkness. The whole composition is just perfect!

Almost unreal!
The warm light of the setting sun is perfect for the piece, both mood wise and colour wise. The painted leaves just jump out at you!
