The tsavo looked away, slowly retrieving his paw and placing it back down. "N-No, please, don't.. apologize." The male replied quietly, barely above a whisper, frowning. "I.. I'm so sorry, I-I really didn't imagine it'd.. make you sad." Menelik sighed, shaking his head slowly. 'It's your fault. You're a fucking failure,' said the voice in his head, and he simply listened to it, not sketching a single reaction. 'Can't do anything right.'

“N-no!” Coniah said and flicked his own tail before moving closer to him, just wanting to prove that Menelik had nothing to do with it. “I-it’s n-not you… its m-me” he murmured and sighed, trying to gather himself. “I am a f-f-f-f-freak who c-cant n-normally t-talk” he whispered, Coni was close enough for tsavo to hear it. He let small sigh and he hesitated before stepping back and licked his dry lips. He was nervous and it was stupid.

"I.. uh. I don't.. think so." He mumbled back after a second of silence, facing Coniah, though his eyes hid away in embarassment as he spoke. "T-Talking isn't easy, uh.. I-I can't really pull it off that well, either. If.. I-If that makes me a freak or not, I'm not sure, b-but if so.." He nervously curled his tail around his legs and decided to finally bring his pale eyes over, sighing. "Then, well. T-Then- you're not alone."
