Vampire things (nope, I'm not the fan of vampires)
Here on this painting the vampire creation happens purely by rage and magical energy WITHOUT any Rice-style horny interaction with corpses.
Mostly in "women's literature", vampires are the fanged prince charmings of lonely housewives' fantasies, shown as lustful and romantic creatures longing for a relationship, usually with a mortal person. The popularity of this stuff made the word vampire associated with the stereotype of the always horny Mr. Soppiness characters from those books and vampires rarely considered as wicked evil creatures.
Legacy of Kain is a fine exception from this with a swordfighter warrior in the leading role, not Lustat. Creating a vampire is pure cruelty and torment.
Just because Anne Rice or Stephanie Meyer etc women's fiction-writer are popular, it does not means ALL vampires act and behave like the characters do in their stories.

Pardon me for interrupting, but there was no one source for vampirism in history, and neither was it originally used as a mataphor for sexual practice.
As it's legend is based on blood it generated fear and misunderstanding more than sexual thoughts......
The sexual links came later as media started an interest for horror films and so fourth.
There is as anyone knows some truth in all legends, but not all start with the loins

I'm strictly speaking of Stoker's Dracula when I say that it was a sexual metaphor. Other vampire stories were not sexual metaphors but stories of fear.
I really do need to be specific when I comment.
I'll read nearly any vampire novels (nearly being the keyword: Twilight can burn) but my favorites are the ones about the insane killer types.
Let's not start on the media screwing with crap. I could get on a soap box and rant about that all day and night.

But I have to agree that the Legacy of Kain vampires are better than other vampires.
In Blood Omen 2, I like the fact that he laughs evilly when he drinks the blood of chained up prisoners.

I like his evil laugh too, and when he's about to finish off his enemies, and kicking both men and women in their asses, or beheading them showing no mercy before draining their blood.

My sister saw me kicking a downed human on Blood Omen 2 the other night and said "What the hell? Why are you kicking him in the ass?" Her expression was hilarious.

I guess many people finds it shocking to see how Kain treats his victims, but he's not a good guy to show mercy. Personally I find it more fun when he's kicking women in the ass, or beheading them

She's seen me play it, she's just never seen Kain fight a downed enemy without a weapon. Yes, it is funnier when he kicks women because it's like he's saying "Take that for staring at me."

I like his bare-handed fighting style, especially when he can go berserk
Those sarafan guard females looks seductive but also ugly, I like Kain doesn't shows mercy to them just because they're females, and doesn't mind kicking their asses

The costumes are so seductive-looking then the actual characters are ugly

I'm glad you imagine this scene the same way too. An angry, powerful magic fits him much better than the lame neck-biting stuff.
His character just needed this description, I don't like to see him treated as an A.Rice-vampire (...or something worse:Twilight)

Tökéletesen egyetértek azzal, amit leírtál és meg kell mondjam én is hányok attól, hogy néhányan átmennek ebbe a meleg Kain témába meg ilyenek...aki egyszer is játszott bármelyik résszel, az rögtön látja hogy ebben nincsen semmi valós. Kainnek nincsenek a dühön és az arrogancián és a gyűlöleten kívül érzései, bár Raziel mégis különleges eset...azt hiszem talán őt valahol mélyen elismeri és kedveli, noha az esetek többségében meg kell neki mondani hogy mi hogyan is van, tekintve hogy Raziel lázadó kamaszként viselkedik.

Pont ezért fura, hogy a fenébe jut ilyen beteges fantázia a rajongók eszébe(már ha van nekik
Az egész történet tele van gyűlölettel és harccal, a főszereplők meg a saját-és a világuk jövőjéért harcoltak, és se nem melegek, sem pedig Disney-mesehősök a rajongók karaktereivel az oldalukon plusz egy rakás gyerekkel.
Az igaz, Kain igazán tud gyűlölni, és mindenkivel bizalmatlan a William-eset után, és eléggé arrogáns is, de az érthető mert teljesen ké
Szerintem Mortanius és Raziel volt a két karakter, akiket talán kedvelt. Mortanius tette azzá, akinek lennie kell (és talán egyedül ő bízott benne) Raziel pedig Kain egyetlen reménye volt, hogy a történelmet újra tudja írni.
Raziel tényleg nem volt könnyű eset, amíg a személyes bosszúja hajtotta, és nem látta át a saját szerepét a történetben.

Múltkor is úgy jártam hogy valaki Razielt Calvin Klein modellként jelenítette meg, be is szóltam az illetőnek hogy ez azért már milyen. -.- Tipikusan annak az üresfejű szé
Pont azt szeretem ebben a sorozatban hogy minden nagyon ki van dolgozva, nem csak a világ, hanem az összes szereplő aki feltűnik.

Ráadásul egyszer kifogtam egy látszólag normálisnak tűnő régi rajongót, az illető meghívott a fórumába (elég volt körülnézni, hogy hányjak) és mindenféle előzetes kérdés nélkül teleszórta az e-mailemet saját készítésű pornó rajzokkal főleg Kainnel és az Elder Goddal kapcsolatban

Én is csináltam néhány aktot Kainről, de ezek tartalmaznak szimbolikát is, mert tetszik az a gondolat is, hogy mindenféle kiegészítő és sallang nélkül is tekintélyt parancsolónak lehet bemutatni, vagy egy pózzal a jellemét kifejezni, de az bosszantó volt, hogy milyen éretlen kommenteket kaptam rájuk (nem is szólva az egyéb felkérésekről is, mint "rajzolj szexi Razielt" . Razielre amúgy se néztem soha úgy, mint szé
Nem szeretem, ha ezeket a karaktereket csak azért vetkőztetik le, hogy "szexisek" legyenek. Pont a saját rajongói járatják le ezt a sorozatot, ahogy mindenáron szexualitást kényszerítenek a karakterekre, és összehozzák őket egymással, vagy a kitalált karaktereikkel, és buta Disney-románcokat írogatnak róluk. Azért ez a történet lényegesen összetettebb mint az ilyen hülyeségek, és sokkal fontosabb dolgokról szól. A karaktereket sem egysíkúak, mindegyiküknek vannak jó és rossz tulajdonságai, és még ők is hibáznak néha, és pont az összetettségük teszi őket különlegessé.
Hehhe Kain amúgy is eléggé egy ellentmondásos karakter

He would use some of Mortaniu's magic to do the resurrection. He would fine a card and say:
"Vampiric Ressurection. With this ability I am able to bring unlife to any corpse I see fit. But I can only use it with 7 times. Seems that I would have to find a worthy corpse but where? Oh well... Im sure I'll find some in time."

As he already can cast spells on the dead, it'd be something similar to his spells "spirit wrack" and "spirit death" just it'd let him put a soul into the corpses.
