there are some people who always thinks that you can live without your art supplies(art in general) and move on without it, because to them; art isn't a career where you would get tons of money out of it in the end, WRONG.
People always thinks that, by doing something else besides ART, you have a life of worth doing something. Can I tell you folks that, I CAN'T live without art? art is an education were you'd possibly get the most of the payment than anything else as a job. without art in general, how would you get all the fancy technology and measurements to HELP you on your job? Explain that folks, GOD GAVE US THIS TELNT TO HELP YOU! or as I normally say ti to people, we have the hand's of God of making creations in Life.
Now i don't think that this stamp has much relativeness towards what I typed here, but it shows that we artists can't seem to live without having to draw; it's like people who can't seem to live without drugs or cigarretts, except being addicted to art is much better than the bad things lol.

When I was a kid, my mom struggled to keep me supplied with paper. If there wasn't any and it was too late to get to a store or the weather was bad, I felt as if I was going to suffocate.

But I totally get the picture. Art is like some kind of escape, like a second world you can use and create when the real one isn't working for you.

people at school ripe up my pictures and when I shout at them and get all depressed they say, 'aww you can just draw it again!' or when they use my pens and 'accidently' break them say 'im sorry it was an accendent' but when i say they can't borrow them they glare at me as if I'd just totally humiliated them. My computer crashed 2 days ago
but I was able to open it and retreive the important stuff
and in a matter of an 30 min I was able to "borrow" my sister's laptop install tablet, photoshop, sai ... considering it is retarded and doesn't even have media player installed on it
I hope to get back on the other one soon however cause I still need my music!!

It's been forever since I added this to my stamp collection, but, I've got to say, I love how fast the words move by and exactly when they pause. It certain gives off that element of being angry with how people don't understand. I think that comes from the pauses. The tone of that anger, the I'm-so-sick-and-tired-of-explaining-this-listen-to-me-you-twad anger comes from the fast pace.

Many people crit me for spending most of my time on the computer without actually understanding what I do. I don't just stare at a screen. I talk to my friends. I DRAW. I do things I enjoy. And they don't understand that.
Heck, I met my best friend with my computer. I think a lot of my happiness comes from it. <3

As far as I'm concerned, without my laptop, pencil, eraser, and notebook, my life is nothing. A writer lives to write, and we eat graphite for breakfast [lol, not really]. Most parents and other people don't seem to understand that art is to us as working everyday is to them. They just don't seem to care. Which is really sad.
