and then i did this one looking more like the real Dark Link, with no outlines at all pure blackness... eeebil..

This has to be one of a handful of pictures in the world that are actually of Dark Link, not some black or white haired twin who has nothing to do with Dark Link or the games. I don't really know if 'evil' is a correct term though; about as evil as a Flame Dancer or Iron Knuckle.

I hear that man. It's weird that Twilight Princess actually gave us cutscene dark links that actually DID look like people kept drawing him @_@ I guess it's the DnD influence..
but yeah, silhouettes are where it's at..
this is just a bit of edited official art, though. I really shouldn't even have it here..
how are flamedancers and ironknuckles not evil? XD all ganon's monsters are evil.. or mindless animals..
then again dark link in zelda II was just a test, so who knows?

Well not quite, the model was still mostly greyed out, they just put a little more effort into it since it was a cutscene instead of a mini-boss.
That was my point though. Flame Dancers and Iron Knuckles don't really have a mind of their own; they're just monsters. I mean, they're evil in that they kill innocents, but they serve an evil will... it's a technicality.
The one in Zelda 2 was definitely a test (the fact that none of the monsters, barring possibly Carock, were evil in that game is one of my issues with it, more on that another time). I say Thunderbird cast it, though it might have been like the Water Temple where the room itself was charmed. i.e. if say... Impa went into that room, it would be Dark Impa instead.

I can't freakin' believe this has gotten 8 favorites.. It's just a crappy hand-done job of shadowifying a particularly crappy low-res piece of official art.. I could do better in 30 seconds with photoshop now.. and slight photoedits really aren't.. like.. art.. ^_^'
