Description
Nobody knows about mantisflies, do they? It turns out they're what antlions grow up into. Well, sort of. Their babies are.. kind of antlions. Regular antlions grow up into dull boring lacewings, but close enough!
Anyway it was fun to do another original species, the bug group doesn't really inspire me to do as many of those. Probably because there's so many to cram in already. And I'm not going to start making up larval or pupal forms for everything, but here we have this recurring antlion enemy so... I had to invent an adult form for it! People don't know antlions are babies, but they are.
