Even though Ryusei is young, he’s already inherited the spirit of a fighter. Despite the fact that he’ll try to avoid any type of confrontation, Ryusei knows how to use his strengths to his advantage. He is deeply protective of those he holds close and is highly competitive, though his quiet nature doesn’t let it show often. This cub settles for nothing less than the best and expects everyone else to adopt the same fierce attitude. Ryusei is known to be a bit bossy due to this trait but that’s a small price to pay for those that know him. It may be tough to gain Ryusei’s trust, but once you have, he’ll be a loyal friend for life and do anything within his power to help you out.

Unlike many cubs, Ryusei doesn’t have a lot to say and often chooses to keep quiet when he’s not being directly spoken to. In fact, when he’s around other felines he doesn’t know well, it’s almost impossible to get him to say more than three words before he’ll close himself back off. Many take this trait for shyness or being smug, but in reality, Ryusei is scared of revealing too much of his inner self. He’s very self-contained and knows how to hide his emotions well. Not only does Sei hate attracting attention to himself but this is also a means of self defense. He’d rather keep himself distant than grow close to someone only to lose them later. This is the main reason why Ryusei only keeps a very small circle of close friends and is very hard to get to know for most. He tends to be a bit of a loner.

Because of his quiet nature, Ryusei is often misunderstood for someone he is not. On first meetings, he can come off as smug, isolated, distant, arrogant, and an elitist but deep down, Sei is really none of these. This cub has a big heart and is willing to help anyone in need, even if that means sacrificing something of his own to better someone else.
