Description
Snow is a pretty sensitive subject to Sorin. He dreads winter and always gets a bit depressed when he sees the first flurries of the white stuff fall through the tree branches. His mother, Kyra, used to tell him all kinds of stories about why things happened in nature, but she loved snow the most. Sorin was extremely close to his mother so losing her was a pretty hard blow to the young fox. He knows she's always with him in heart though.~~
More TW concept stuff. This pic was pretty much inspired by Nekc's half of an art trade we did. which you should totally check out! I might post the original sketch on my tumblr later but I reeeally need to go study now. :U
Kyra's death plays a pretty big part in my comic, so I won't answer any questions about what happened to her. :3 You'll know soon. xD

How do you do the outer glow around her?

I just colored the lineart I really light shade of blue and, against that dark of a background, it looks like a glow.

Well actually, I meant the really really faded misty white; Did you draw that all or use a border or something?

Oh, that! xD No. What I really did was multiply the lineart so I had two separate copies of it and simply blurred one of them. That should give you that really faint misty white glow.

Actually, my grades never fully recovered from my adventures in almost failing.
Same thing with my artblock, I have to draw a comic for a group I'm in but I just don't have the inspiration or motivation right now!
