Early morning runs are the best, if you're the leader of the Shining Star Cheetah Clan or his little brother. 83 Looks like Sandaa and Noah know the perfect way to wake themselves up after a long night.
Haven't drawn Sandaa in a while and some people said they wanted to see him more. So here ya go. :3 Btw, I changed Sandaa's name just a bit, adding 2 a's at the end. His name means "thunder" in Japanese so I figured I'd at least spell it right. XD

"Hyper Drive" was accepted as the theme, which is good, but I got tired of it, so I'm listening to the Japanese ones, which I think sound really good. Reason why I got tired of that theme: they kept playing it in Season 2.

I use Photoshop Elements 5 and the grass in this pic is all done with it's default Dune Grass tool. :3 I use that all the time cause I'm too lazy too lazy to draw every blade of grass myself.

Whoa! Seriously! I use Photoshop Elements 6. How long did it take you on this single picture? And how did you do the background color? I just want to get some tricks of the tools of trade!

Hmm...this pic took like 2-3 days, but only counting the time I actually worked on it, 3-4 hours maybe. The background color's easy. :3 You just basically scribble colors that would look good all blurred together on a separate layer. They don't have to look neat or anything, then you go to Filter >Blur >Gaussian Blur and use the filter bar at the bottom to make it look the way you want. ^^ I like using it so much that almost every pic I out a background on has a sunrise/sunset background.

How do you do the outlines of your chars? I mean, I just use black and trace my scanned pictures...how do you do it?

Most of the time I sketch what ever I'm gonna draw on PS. I never could make anything look that great by scanning a pic in then coloring, expect for that Jaden pic I did. I usually use a blue color for sketching. Then I take the pic, zoom in to 500% normal size and use a 1 pixel brush, using black of course, on a different layer. XD

That's just a group of cheetahs out of a story I thought about writing awhile ago. XD Sandaa's their leader.
XD [link] 4kids is actually letting the fans pick the opening theme for the 5D's dub when it starts in September. One of the songs called "Hyper Drive" is like stuck in my head, so I've been voting for that one. ^^ This whole pick was inspired by that.
