Description
This is my application pic for Kris, a liger up for adoption on TLKFAA. ;3 He's just so cute, I couldn't resist! <33 Should I get him, I'll draw him up a proper ref sheet with background story and such. =3I used a little different inking technique when I inked this too. I used a 3 px brush instead of my normal 2 px brush. =3 I think I like the way the lineart came out. xD
I really don't like how he looks like "a simba clone with stripes" though. :/ My drawing style has been extremely Disney-ish lately.

OMG, ONE PIXEL!!! I'mma faint now.... xDDD For once I think I have an idea that I think you may find interesting: have you ever gone with a varied thickness outline? I don't know if you've ever noticed, but all my outlined pics have a thicker border and the markings and stuff are thinner--its VERY basic form of a varied thickness outline, since there are only two thicknesses, but I think it's a touch that makes a pic so much moar awesome! Then again, I don't really know how that'd work on your pics, tho! But, its just a suggestion! xDD

Lol, yes, 1 pixel! Of course, I quit using 1px a looonnng time ago it seems.
=3 I used to do that type of inking actually! I'd outline everything then go back and add a darker outline around the outside of whatever I was inking. ;3 It makes the pic look more like clipart, so I still do that sometimes. Not as often as I used too though.

You're right! He does look like a Simba clone XD
It's still really good though, no doubt about that. When I look over your other pictures, and then this one; I think it looks better with a 3px line. It adds a better feel to the lines.

Good luck with adopting him! ^^
I've always used a 3px brush. It just always seems to come out looking thicker. You did a good job on this though. Looks great. ^^

Thanks Myth! <33
I always thought a 3 px brush made lineart look too thick, but that was obviously back when I couldn't use PS. xD

XD Maybe. I think it works okay. If I use anything smaller than that my lines get erased accidentally when I color sometimes. >.> A 2px usually wors for me too though.

xD You should try using a 1 px sometimes. I used to use that and pics always looked all pixely.
Your pics are always inked really well though. <3

XD I think I have tryed using a 1px a few times. Then my lines totally disappeared without my knowledge.
^^ Thanks. I think yours always are too.

You are a very impressive artist! I think you should draw some subjects that aren't disney style cats. Doing that has helped me a lot with my artwork and how I portray myself as an artist in general. Just try it, it may help you as well.
And again, you have some great skills!
