commission for =Feyrah of her awesome character Flick, who I adore now. <33 First time ever drawing a raccoon, though I've always kinda wanted one as a char, so hopefully he doesn't look too much like a wolf or something non-raccoon like. xD

Awesome! Flick looks so cute. He looks good. I mean the only thing I could think that looked still too wolfy was maybe his nose and muzzle should be a little smaller, but I still instantly thought raccoon, not wolf or whatever. Great job and I can't wait to see mine

I'm thinking the muzzle might need to be a bit more pointier, but Fey draws her raccoons a bit like this, so I guess I was trying to stay on model with the char. c: If I were drawing my own raccoon chara, it'd definitely have a more pointier and shorter muzzle.

I put a tutorial up awhile back about how I ink. [link] It's mostly just a lot of resizing. x3 I double the size of my pic between my sketching and inking, then scale it back down just before I finish, so all my inking and coloring is done at double to size of the original. ;3 It makes for really clean lineart and colors when you're finished.

No offense, but I thought I'd let you know that he kind of does look a bit wolfy or foxy. But now that you mention raccoon, he looks like that too!

Raccoons are technically part of the canine family, so him looking a bit canine is perfectly fine. ;3 I just didn't want him looking overly wolfy...if that make any sense. xD
