New charrie! xD I've been sketching this guy like crazy for the past couple of days. c: His name (for now) is Oliver and he's a Mainecoon/tabby mix who's mainly here to help me with human-like poses.
He's quickly becoming a favorite for me to draw though and may end up becoming the mascot of my blog or another fursona or something. x3Anyway, about Oliver: Oliver loves anything to do with history and can be seen dressed in many different outfits from different time periods. His favs include WWII German Luftwaffe pilot, US Confederate solider, 1776 British Regular (a.k.a Red Coat) and many different outfits from Colonial America.
When Oliver's not all dressed up, he can always be seen wearing a pair of white "gloves", black boots, the white chest piece from his Red Coat outfit, and occasionally a blue scarf.
He can either be drawn bi-pedal or on 4 legs like a normal cat.

Meh, he kinda fell out of my list of top chars, so I doubt he'll be used as often as I had hoped. I've been trying to find a place for him somewhere though.

D: Of course not. I usually rotate my characters throughout the year. ;3 I'll draw some for awhile then switch over and draw the rest.

What an interesting character! I really like the concept and design you used for him, fairly simple yet also unique. Nicely done with the biography, short and gets the points across. <: History cat, eh? I like that, it must be an interesting concept to toy around with.

I've been tyring to design a bipedal/quad character myself. I can't get it to look natural, though.. I really like this approach, its great seeing something new around dA. I know a lot of wolf and anthro artists, but they tend to remain inside the borders of their respective trades, rather than experimenting. I'd love to see how this guy develops. It makes me want to work on my character as well. xD
also, snazzy idea with the outfits; good practice and the ultimate fashion statement.
