AFTER WEEKS OF WORKING ON IT.

I FINALLY HAVE DONE IT.

...well one reference sheet, but i have a couple more in the works already~!

the storyline is already completely done; i just need to edit a couple things before starting the comic~! so, uh, enjoy the series of reference sheets and other misc world-building stuff while i prepare to make the comic??

anyway, quick information about my au:
This AU is going to central on a universe where the monsters were never Sealed Underground due to reasons explained in the future comic. The humans, now a much, much smaller population, were now the minority, and the now much-more powerful monsters, out of fear of future attacks, trapped them in a city surrounded by massive stone walls that was patrolled by a group of monster frequently. In order to guard the human city more efficiently, Asgore ordered his most trusted friend, W.D. Gaster, to settle in a camp closer to the human’s city in order to maintain a steady patrol. However, once the camp began to look more and more like a city, Gaster announced to Asgore that the other settlement had nothing to do with his settlement, thus proclaiming a new kingdom. Due to the new kingdom, Asgore was unable to go with his original plan to free the humans once the ruins of the war were gone; Gaster, out of fear of the human’s more powerful SOULs, was planning to keep them trapped for an eternity. Not wanting to fight, Asgore found himself unable to do anything against Gaster’s rather cruel entrapment of humans.
The story/comic itself will center around Frisk’s mission to find their missing cousin, Chara, who had managed to get out of the fortified city and made it to Asgore’s kingdom, where they were adopted by the royal family. In an effort to talk to their cousin, Frisk broke out of the fortified walls and struggled to get to their cousin. However, there are many obstacles in their way; first and foremost, the city’s walls are not only to keep the humans inside, but also in a way protecting them from the vicious forest filled with poisonous animals and leftover war remnants. Then there was the difficulty of finding food and water, not to mention a safe shelter. Frisk’s journey only skyrocketed in difficulty after finding the first city, which was not safe for humans...
