I've decided to start adding random non-drawing projects to this gallery, since I occasionally get obsessed with bizarre craft projects (like UFO catchers, custom Zizzlingers, etc XD). I'm not sure if this is in the right category (is this only for glass ornaments? I HAVE NO IDEA) so.. uh.. Sorry if it's not!

I made these as gifts for three of my friends (and my mother) for Christmas 2006. I had the idea to paint nutcrackers and started looking for unpainted ones around October, and finally found a whole bunch of them at Hobby Lobby. My friend Mir is the one who suggested Dumbledore crackers when I asked when character(s) she thought would look good, so credit goes to her for the idea.

I think anything you need to know about them is above. They took surprisingly little time, considering I did all four at once - I basically just worked on them on and off for a few days until they were all done. They were actually a lot of fun, although the felt robes were kind of a pain. But not nearly so much pain as actually sewing. XD
