2-3 hours sketching went into this, (most sketches ended up in the trash)15 mins scanning, readjusting image size (the original lineart sketch is traditional)
and 1-2 hrs redrawing the lineart, coloring, shading.
I was going for natural colors, an early morning kind of hue...
Please tell me if you see how I can improve this (or future artworks) further!

Had to do this with one of my brothers for two nights... I was happy until he slowly inched me off the bed in his sleep!

Nice work on the coloring, and I like how their expressions came out. Very calm tired and ready to go to sleep! Light's body is nicely done but L's anatomy is a little bit off. I think next time before you draw characters under a sheet first sketch and imagine how their poses would look like if the bed-sheet wasnt there. Also L's and Light's necks don't quite look right. I give you props for added an adams apple but I think it it turned out a bit awkward looking. Overall you did a decent job with the hands bed and sheet!
