Description
The idea stemmed from an older picture and from watching some H.A.W.X. and Ace Combat gameplays.A flight of fictional F-41S stealth fighters decloak as missiles are fired at a mysterious black triangle in response to unloading nuclear material. HUD is based loosely on a real HUD (details such as altitude, speed, angle of attack, bearing, reticle and whatnots).

man, talk about GUI design, i should really learn something from you.
...well at least i passed that module already. (barely...)

The trick is to always establish the purpose of each GUI element.

the purpose is there but i really have a hard time with the design itself, mine is always very simple.

AWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEE!!!
There should have been a mission like that in one of the Ace Combat games. You sir, have just made my DAY!! Ty so much.
P.S. Fictional planes FTW

Nah. By then, it would've been called SpAce Combat.

I love your creativity with the resemblance of the F-22. I can see how you brought out the diamond-shape of the F-22
s main wing into your design. i also love the blue afterburners. the HUD is pretty cool too.
I also like to create things like this. I've thought up of a plane that very nearly resembles what your plane looks like. I wonder who'd win in a dogfight?
Nevertheless, i am a pilot-in-training at the local airport, and i can honestly say that i'd pilot the F-41S any day. Totally a fav

Thanks, bud, but nobody would win because it eventually boils down to fanboy headbutting where no party would agree on the rules of a fair fight.
I'm just saiyan... my witness accounts with this kinda thing is well over 9000 now.

lol, whatever you like, but that will do; just don't forget about the invisibility cloaks - it has them.
I didn't call it a space fighter for a very good reason: warfare in (relatively) 0 G, near-vacuum is hard to realistically imagine. Too many rules of fluid dynamics are broken at this level.

Airflow, bud. Can't dogfight in space - it's not a significant mass of air - no such thing as a proper air resistance. ;)

What about scram jet engines? They're air breathing engines that could launch into with Earth's atmosphere.

You're free to decide, as long as it's understood that for all intents and purposes, the F-41 or any other craft of its time can but won't fight in space [Outer Space Treaty ].

I'm pretty sure in a 100 years the Outer Space Treaty won't mean anything anymore. But still I love it, great work on HUD system. It truly makes it look very realistic to the point that I could match it up with a F-22's HUD.

Well, all it needs to do is to bring that UFO down before it FTLs all 50 tons of its triangular butt into some distant what-have-you. If breaching an Outer Space Treaty, of all things, is what it takes to nail that cheeky alien bastard, then so be it. =)

True true. The outer space treaty is kinda stupid when you think of it. When we start colonizing other planets and wars happen on other colonies the Outer space treaty will defiantly be breached.

I think [or at least hope] that in the future, the helmets will be much more anatomical
The way that technology advances leads me to that statement.

, no prob
Some say it could be the TR-3B, but...I guess TR-3B is not as sharp as the Aurora...also because the first appears to be an equilateral triangle, instead of an isosceles...
BUT...none of us know for sure
