"Possum"Wild - Opossum
100% Wild possum. For people who know me to well NO I did not pet it! I thought about it for a moment but resisted. This is the only time I have seen one up close that wasn't trying to attack me or my pets. Honestly they are not really all that bad. Not my favorite animal in the whole world but now they are tolerable I think. This is why I want to get into photography to bring photos like this to people that don't have the opportunity's to see it for themselves.

He was along side the road where I usually take my drive. I couldn't believe it I almost drove by thinking it was an illusion of my mind or something, that I so desperately wanted to see any creatures at all my mind obliged

well this was a great find... all the ones I see had been expired or flattened.... it's really uncommon to find then out in the daytime, being a nocturnal creature... which should have raised you concern about its health....
