Please forgive the pun XD

So I went to AFO this weekend kinda on an impulse and was reminded of just how much I'm annoyed by mainstream anime/manga/fans.

I was almost ready to leave the con early when I passed by a panel titled "Anime that Doesn't Suck." I heard "All hail Big Fire! Alliegence or Death!" and ducked into it immediately. The speaker was high-larious and literally saved the con for me.

In the course of the panel he showed a few clips of Giant Robo and mentioned his favorite villain was Shocking Alberto (or Alberto of Impact, Shockwave Alberto etc. etc.) so I gave em this as a thank you.

Cool things that happened:
-He loved it!
-I ended up winning rounds in both quick draw contests! (Mech and Pen)
-I was invited to co-host a Mecha panel next year!
-On Sunday I ran into a kick ass One Piece group with a Franky!

All in all I'm darn glad I decided to stick around and it's all thanks to Mr. Joey Snackpants. Also this has re-ignited my zeal to cosplay as Youshi the Blue Beast. Now if I could only find me sewing machine...
