Caught in the open, pinned by a shaft of moonlight, he stood transfixed...terrified! The titan loomed in the night, lights blazing. Time seemed to slow as the rumble of ancient gears and machinery drifted through the still air. The engine had annihilated the outpost in the desert with brutal efficiency. It's weapons traversed the scenes of devastation and he had risked a run for cover in blind panic.

With a white actinic flash like a supernova, the titan's weapons spoke and he remembered no more.

Here the Titan is just moving off but has spotted a rebel guardsman. Die heretic!

I've tried to do things differently taking on feedback from the awesome community here at DA! I've tried to put more contrast in the shading and take my time a bit more to take light sources into account. It was hard not to rush near the end to get it finished heh. It started as a sketch on rough paper, then I decided to go the whole way and finish it, so now I'm regretting using the rough paper!

A4 size using 2H – 8B graphite pencils.

As usual guys and gals, I would appreciate any comments and criticisms on this one as it's probably my best so far; but I'd love your thoughts and more feedback to make the next even better!
