Hero Factory meets Pacific Rim? Yes please!
So. Upon release of (preliminary) set pictures of 2014 HF sets, I decided to throw together some sketches. I got lucky this time; I've been wanting to use a head design similar to the beasts for a while, and now I can!

AaaUuuuuGgggHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why?
(Hero Factory went downhill when they brought out Brain Attack, and the TV series was already on the dropping slope when they tried incorporating humor.)

A) I feel that this wave is probably the best Lego has come up with. And the addition of minifigs will only bring in more fans (heck, I've already seen people showing interest in HF now because of them despite these people having no interest in the theme before).
B) The TV series was always... Bad. I admit it. Hopefully this upcoming episode will be better (also it's going to be animated by Ghost, who did pretty much all the CGI commercials for Bionicle).

Hero Factory + Exo Force + Pacific Rim, essentially.
And I'm loving it all.

Technically, its based on a theme older than Pacific Rim (Power Rangers, Evangelion, Godzilla, ETC) but that's another story

I won't deny the fact that giant fighting mechs have been around for a while. Pacific Rim has just been the most recent incarnation of the genre, so I used it for comparison.
Not to mention, the Beasts in this wave of Hero Factory bear a very similar resemblance to the Kaiju in Pacific Rim.

Alot of people are complaining the crap out of LEGO for transforming buildable actionfig to minifigs <
But for me,I am pretty happy about those HF 2014 set,coz they reminds me of 2005-2006 Bionicle Hordika and Inika playsets and they also comes with Kaiju looking Visoraks too. XD

People are complaining? Never heard that. In fact, combining Constraction and minifigs is a great idea on LEGO's part. Not many Lego fans are in to Constraction simply because of how different it is to basic brick building. So the inclusion of minifigs will hopefully draw them in to Hero Factory and the Constraction theme as a whole (especially the hard-core minifig collectors).
As for HF 2014, I too am excited. It's essentially Hero Factory Pacific Rim, so it's automatically awesome.
