Custom two part vinyl toy, inked up as one of my happily psychotic little Spores.I do have a hammer to hand in case it begins to move again.

I just painted it, I didn't make it - it is a 'designer vinyl toy' that I bought.
I will have some photos soon of the sporey figures I've been making - some for display and some for a stop-motion animation I am slowly getting together

I just did a little googling and an ebay search and found a bunch of shops selling this type of thing. I don't know a lot about them but they do seem rather popular, and there's some good designs that once you've stripped the paint off leave a nice blank canvas to play with
Hehe the stop motion thingy is going to be a long project, it keeps starting and stopping and is mostly based around making strange things for my set at present.

I've looked into getting some vinyl ones done of my own design and it is way out of my budget even for a small run. So I'm going to use some resin based plastics and latex moulds and see what happens there instead

This one was a blank I bought it off ebay I think. I only found out about DIY toys a couple of weeks ago by chance, as I was googling around for something to cast figures from myself.

They're lots of fun to play with, I've spent some time stripping the paint from other toys and have nearly finished a couple more now
