A redesign of my character Kamia!I felt like drawing something obscenely cute. I also wanted to mess around with Kamia's design. As much as I love her old hair style, it's just unpractical. She never looked right. I love this design now! She feels much more like Kamia should be.
You can probably guess my influences for this. Moe-blobs are so cute and squishy and I love them so much. I also took some ideas from Spice & Wolf, namely the way the ears look, because, obviously Horo (Holo) is a wolf-girl and Kamia is a wolf-girl... tho I invented Kamia long LONG before I saw Horo. The way ~Caetis drew Kamia was also very inspiring for this picture.
I think my personal style still shines through
Seriously tho... this lineart makes me giddy. The color is kind of a rush job (like usual) but I think it turned out right. But I'm so proud of the lineart, I could have submitted it all by itself and been happy.

So wonderful to see that you're drawing again! The subtle lighting and shading are wonderful, but the thing that keeps attracting my attention is her right hand; that hand and its pose pleases me.

yeah I'm really liking using a thick line for the lineart. I think that helps give a different look. I really like the look of this style
