Description
WARNING: MASSIVE RESOLUTION.So, as per my poll, I've decided to do a lineart & colouring tutorial. I'll be uploading the parts slowly (this first part took almost three hours), but I hope to have them done within the next couple of days.
Please note that this is only my way of doing lineart & colouring. This is not, by any means, the only way of doing things. I definitely recommend that if you use this tutorial series, that you use it as a learning tool only and develop your own unique techniques as you progress in your art.
Usage info: I give permission for any group to feature this, if a group actually wants to. You may LINK to this original deviation (and not the view image right click option!) or use the social networking options to the right if you wish to share it with your friends. Please do not redistribute, repost the full image, and/or claim as your own.
Thanks! I'll be linking to the other parts as they're uploaded.
minor edit;; I incorrectly named the next tutorial part at the end of this tut, and that is now fixed.
Part One (You Are Here!) | Part Two | Part Three | Part Four | Part Five | Part Six | Part Seven [FINAL]

I just dislike actual inking. I had to do it for my comic/storyboarding class. gahh! I am very please with the convenience of scanning my messy initial drawings then loading them up on photoshop. Thanks for the Digital Inking Tutorial using Pen Tool. This will make my work flow better since I use brush instead.

like, with a traditional pen? i'm not a huge fan, either, but luckily i don't have to do it very often. xD

Awesome. I'm going to draw/lineart/shade a picture of Phoebus Cousland (~TheOneKnight 's character) with this tutorial. :3

This is the first lineart tut I've seen that helps people like me, who are stuck with a scanner, photoshop, and a mouse! Thanks so much for being so clear on things. I actually think I might finally get somewhere on something other than photomanip. ^^

i'm glad you like it! i worked on line art for about two years before i got a tablet, so i definitely feel for mouse users. :'] i hope this helps you out, since i know it's really hard to find a good mouse-user tut. thanks for your comment and !
