The Retaliation-class is about 6.8 km long and 1.7 km at its widest. It is between a cruiser (4.5-6 km) and a battlecruiser (8-12 km) in size. While the smallest true warship, the Gyrfalcon-class attack-vessel, is 146 meters long and about 97 m. wide. And it is basically the Unity equivalent of a gunboat.

Picket Cruisers: 200-300 meters.
Assault Ships (comparable to Forerunner Planet-Breakers): 500-1000 meters.
Corvettes: 1.2-1.5 km.
Frigates: 2-3 km.
Destroyers: 2.7-3.6 km.
Light Cruisers: 4-5.5 km.
Light Carriers: 5-5.5 km.
Heavy Cruisers: 5-6 km.
