A drawing of my version of a Manticore, a greek monster with a human face, a lions body, and a scorpions tail. I drew it with a demon mask though, because,

A) I didnt want to draw a human face to it, because I cant draw humans all that well...

B) I thought, "What if its face was so ugly, the people that bound it in chains put a mask on it, so it didnt freak out the citizens?" And that worked for me, so thats why, lol.

Oh, and if you cant tell, on the bottom right of the pic, thats an iron ball like they bound to criminals. Just if your wondering.

My inspirations include Greek mythology (obviously), Japanese Hanya masks, and Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2. The tail is based off of an actual scorpion species called the Deathstalker scorpion.
