Hello there! No worries, i THINK it has not been asked, I can't remember XD;

The designs on the fabrics were traced onto metallic gold pleather and cut with scissors/blade. And subsequently transferred and attached to the positions on the apparels using UHU glue!

UHU glue is wonderful but be very careful using it because its.. rather messy to deal with and can leave sticky marks and the disadvantage would probably be that you can't wash such a costume. All the best!

P.S: I tried sewing on the pleather but my machine and its foots cannot accomodate the material. But with the right footer you can.

I'm sorry but can you tell me where you bought your pleather because I've searched everywhere and this is the only thing I can find [link] It looks really reflective unlike yours and I need something that's not so shiny.
I would really appreciate the help

I bought my gold pleather from a local fabric store.

It is matt gold with felt-like backing. slightly strechy.

I don't see this material anyway online myself as well.

Yea, I fell in love with clamp's version of the costumes (C.C's costume is a gorgeous bonus!)

Not so keen about the hat although the artist explained that it was needed to amplify his status haha! But big hat made me felt weirddddd

LOL! Well I might have interpretated it wrongly..if I may correct myself, she meant, because the costume itself is very grand, she wanted a head piece that was complimenting to the rest of his emporer garb, so the hat so HUGGGGGGE.

But you can see Sunrise disagrees and removes 50% of the head piece for the anime

I was worried I will be busy trying to stay still keeping the hat and costume in place, but I had quite abit of fun moving in it, it has alot of drape...and the hat was sitting properly on my head, the hat had a surprisingly equilaterally-balanced outcome.

I commented to Suzaku: "Hey look at my back, I have one huge ass eye telling people "IM WATCHING U FROM MY BACK."
