Sunsets are my safe point. I try to always make them different even if I am given a lot of the same. My preference has always been to have some clouds to keep things interesting. The more clouds there are and the more depth that they can have the better they are. This one has always been a favorite with everyone that sees it.Date of original image: August 14th, 2013

fantastic capture. The horizon is so straight and the clouds look like they're trying to camouflage the sun which of course can't be hidden as it blazes it's way down. Lovely colors and bright outlines for the clouds. I like the proportions you allowed for the sea, the layer of clouds with the sun, and the rest of the sky, very good balance

Thankfully it's going to be slightly easier every day now for quite some time. The days are getting longer and just today I got my first 2014 sunset. It only gets better from here.

Thank you!!! It's unedited too. It's one of the few that I have that turned out REALLY good despite not being edited. I tried editing it for a re-release, but everything I did to it made not look as good as it already is.

Im fortunate to live to the east of a river, so sunsets are ALWAYS on the water. This was taken in Tampa, Florida. I love this one personally but the one problem I have is the ocean isn't level with itself in the shot. Besides that it's AMAZING to me. I shot it with the tungsten filter on the camera which is why it has that color feel.

Tampa is my favorite vacation spot. It has spectacular sunsets over the water, something I can only duplicate at my current residence. I am going to be sad when I move from where I live because I will lose my photography spot.
