October of 2013 was my first time in Philadelphia. I must say that I loved the city of brotherly love. This is my final shot from the trip to this wonderful city. A magnificent reverse sunset photo where the sun illuminates the skyline of downtown Philadelphia.I hope you enjoy this photograph of mine. I would love to hear your feedback. I appreciate any favorites, critiques, comments, shares, or features. Thank you.

The difference in building shapes keeps the eye wandering the photograph over and over again. The colors, while still vibrant and bold, do not interfere from what the skyline has to offer. The reflective surface of the windows creates highlights and although bright and color washed, adds detail and dimension to the buildings. There are points that the eyes are drawn to which are all different from one another. Every aspect of this photograph keeps the mind interested, wondering what else might be lurking withing the buildings, walls and windows. There are so many aspects of this photo that might make it busy but with the unity in colors it makes it one photo not many buildings. Great job on this one

Thanks for such an amazing critique. I am glad you like my photo that was taken in Philadelphia. The original image that I put up with this had virtually no edits to it. Everything looked a little bit more washed out in comparision to what it is now. Also the color of the sunset wasn't as powerful as it is now. I am glad that the change in image file is something that compelled you to write one of the three critiques that you did for me today. Thank you a lot.

Brilliant positioning and hats off to the hue set for the picture!!!
The softness is evident from the way the photographer has managed the lighting effects.
Obviously a piece of art which suggests the weariness of the city after a long hard day's work. when the city actually succumbs to the tiredness of the noise of a busy day.
Most of us are exposed to photographs that either shows the busy streets of the day or the busy streets during the night but the efforts made to take this picture is unparalleled.

A pretty good shot, I would say. It got a nice view on
the buildings and the colors certainly make this
evening setting very nice. At daylight those cities
usually seem boring to me, but at the dusk of a new
night, the life goes up.

Yeah, I usually don't like urban settings during the daytime because there's less to work with. Sometimes it works, but this was something I never expected to get. I loved Philadelphia.

I was there for a real estate convention. It was very good and I want to do another convention soon. I got great pictures and learned a lot of things that helps with real world application too.
