Ocean City, Maryland. It's currently off season there and the whole town is practically shut down. Just some of the essentials and some of the venues are open all the time.

Look like American buildings from the last century. Seriously, it
looks like the buildings from an old movie or from Bioshock
Infinite. I guess in combination to a lack of life and the gray tones,
it leads to the theme.

Yeah, deserted town scenes make excellent black and white photos. Ocean City while it is off season is largely like this.
