Haha, seems my obsession never ends. X3Holmes again. This time thinking. (No doubt puzzling over some details of a crime, deducing all sorts of things about the facts he already knows.) ^^
Still kinda unfinished. Didn't want to work on the background (I HATE backgrounds) and the shading still needs some finishing touches, but well... I have been working on this for weeks now (staring at it for hours, correcting/adding a couple of lines, staring, deleting corrections/lines, staring, ...) and I decided to just post it now. I'm finished with it. ( -A-)

A lovely study in concentration: the cherrywood, the rolled-up sleeves and unbuttoned shirt (can't complain about them!), the fingered brow. A pensive and elegant Holmes.

The rolled-up sleeves (and of course the whole picture) are mainly inspired by the few times Jeremy did this in the Granada TV series. I really really loved that!

An almost shirtless Holmes is a very nice contrast to an always impeccable dressed Holmes, that's why I drew it. And of course for the fan-service! XDDD

I do adore him too XD
I love to draw him, but in my Imagination he has gray hair o.O Anyway, "your" Holmes is gorgeous - I love his Body! Perfect proportions, his Arms are LOVE xD And his Pose is very Holmes-like, with this ankled Legs :3 I think the Background don´t disturbs the Picture, it makes it just a bit...surreal? Like Holmes did not sit in the Bakerstrett 221b but in..his own toughts? 
You can interprete this "lacking" of Background as depth XD
I like his Shirt, alltought I would ALWAYS make his Clothing outstanding, for he´s some weird kind of Dandy to me xDDDD
I hope my english is understandable, I´m german :/

Also, auf jeden Fall DANKE für das nette comment! ^^ Freut mich, dass das Bild gefällt. Ich hab mir tatsächlich ein bisschen Mühe damit gegeben... bis dann auf den Hintergrund. Aber hey, ich mag deine Interpretation davon! XD
Eigentlich versuche ich immer ihn klassisch und korrekt zu kleiden (ich LIEBE die Mode einfach), aber ich wollte diesmal einfach seine in-Gedanken-Versunkenheit betonen... (also, er hat es nichtmal geschafft sich richtig anzuziehen ^^).
