What can I say? It's an obsession.
I didn't do any shadows or the like on this one... kinda like the unfinished look... I think it also intensifies the emotion/feeling/atmosphere...

Something else that stands out about this image is that both Holmes and Watson are in their shirtsleeves. It makes them all the more vulnerable somehow.

Holmes wirkt so zerbrechlich und schwach, was auch durch seine sehr dünnen Arme begünstigt wird.
Ich finde es toll, das man Watsons Gesichtsausdruck nicht sieht, das lässt dem Betrachter viel Spielraum zum spekulieren.
Dadurch wirken die Charakteristika der Charaktere fast ein bisschen umgedreht.

Jajaja, genau! Find ich toll, wie du meine Bilder verstehst! Genau das hatte ich beabsichtigt mit den vertauschten Charakteristika! Sonst ist ja immer Holmes der "Stärkere", aber ich wollte mal eine starke Seite an Watson zeigen... und gleichzeitig einen Moment der Schwäche bei Holmes.
