Assassin's Creed The Land of the Morning CalmIn this scene, The main character defeats some Japanese Soldiers and brandishes the Korean Flag as more soldiers start to enter the scene.
If I could go back to this artwork, I think I would expand the environment a bit more and populate it with more people, perhaps some korean citizens cheering

I found this neat. I seriously do feel that Japanese-occupied Korea would be a unique era for any game to showcase, especially for a game like assassin's creed.

It looks really cool! Do you apply your lighting with multiply layers, or is it color knowledge, kind of eyeballing?

Its mostly just eyeballing, ive never used multiply layers for lighting (I do use multiply sometimes for shadows though) but yeah mostly, I figure out the lighting using references/eyeballing. it helps to go outside and paint, theres a lot of knowledge gained from looking at the world!
