The only thing that could make this better? Wick and her woe maidens from the Devil's Carnival. Or the Painted Doll from the same. I get the feeling that LJ and Miss Giggles would get along well with them.

More Creepypasta characters?
I like this Ms. Giggles, however. She seems like the the type of clowns that most people fear when they are kids. The "hand-puppet" relationship between these two seems rather interesting, too. I am not a big fan of this "proxy" business when it comes to creepypasta characters, but I think you did a really good job drawing these two. So even when I don't always like the characters... I still think you did a great job here!

Thank you .
Yea, more Creepypasta ))). But i it's ok , i like Laughing Jack , and Ms. Giggles... i do not think she has a story
. 99% of the Creepypastas are OCs
and have no story .
I do not know what their relationship is . It's just that when i started drawing this popped in my mind
.
.....
I does not know exactly what a "proxy" is >///<. ... I only know slender man has some

I think it's OK if creepypasta characters have no story. A lot of the time the story just makes the character worse. (I think Jeff the Killer's story actually makes him worse as a character. And Slenderman doesn't even need a back story to be creepy.) I think it shows that the creators are trying too hard to make something creepy... but their inexperience actually takes away from the overall experience.
A "proxy", apparently, is an agent of the creepypasta creature. Basically, my understanding is that these creatures will sometimes choose humans to do their work for them and these people are called proxies. I believe these "proxies" are a fan-creation. It's like a self-insert fan-character based on creepypasta characters. It's like fans creating fan-OC's in a pre-established universe that has some relationship with cannon characters.
I hope this helps!

Why would a creepypasta character need a proxy ? Are they getting lonely
)))))))))))))))))))).
And yes, sometimes the story kills the characters . I's because ppl do not know how to put on paper what they are really thinking . I's hard to write a really good story , it's hard to write even an acceptable story
))).

Like what I said, I don't think the Creepypasta characters need proxies. But it's similar to people creating fan-characters who are the lovers, wives/husbands or children of characters from the original show. I don't think these characters really need lovers or children. But it makes the fan-creators feel a lot better about how they feel towards the characters. I think it makes them feel less lonely, too.
It's difficult to say what kills a story more. Sometimes people can come up with a great story but they can't write it. But some people can write a lot of beautiful words but not tell a story at all. When it comes to Creepypasta stories, one element of making the story good is how close to reality it feels. And that's difficult for a lot of writers. In order to come up with the "Creepiest" characters, they have given up on trying to be realistic. And that really kills both the character and the story.

That is true . Most of the creepypasta characters live in an imaginary world where logic does not apply
.
And i think a lot of fans are children , and imagining themselves proxis (wives or children) of the creepypasta characters makes them happier , they feel like they can interact with those imaginary characters better , somewhat on the same level as the monsters they admire so much

I had a conversation with a friend earlier about why people are fascinated with monsters. I think it has something to do with us trying to feel powerful and special. In psychology, it's called "Identifying with the aggressor". If we think of ourselves on the same level as the monsters we will not become a victim. And everybody is afraid of becoming a victim. I also think a lot of people who like Creepypasta have never encountered anything remotely "horrible" in their lives, either. They think of body horror as something fascinating, something detached from themselves. So it becomes "Fun". But if they are personally touched by death or tragedy, I am sure they would not be fans of these childish fantasies.
We are all fascinated by death and destruction, one way or another. But it's different to respect it than to admire it. And it's really different when you make fun of it.

Yea , i'm curios about death too , mostly because i can't really understand it . I do not understand what makes the things around us (and us) move or what makes them stop moving and why ....and what really happens after death ....I know what happens with the body , but what happens with the thing( the so called soul ) that makes the body move ?....

You are absolutely right. That's exactly what Nietzsche meant when he said "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee." However, some people are actually fascinated with monsters so much... that they do want to become monsters. That is why some people are so interested in their imagined bogeyman that they want to become a tool for it. (I am talking about the "proxies" of certain Internet phenomenon horror figures. The same idea has been explored in other films like "Sinister.") I think it's unfortunate that people allow themselves to fall into that trap. After all, we already have enough monsters in this world...
I think we are all curious about death, in one way or another. I think it's because in some level, we are afraid of it, so we want to know more about it. It's hard to imagine what it feels like "not alive". But then again, when we are not alive, we can't feel anymore. Maybe there's something after we die; maybe there isn't. It's almost like asking "What happens to us before we are born?" I don't think anyone can answer those questions.

Hello! Nice to meet you.
I don't think we've met before, but I'm really happy to know that my little opinion-piece has been helpful to you.
"Mary Sue" style characters are usually a form of self-insert into a story. As a fan character, Mary Sue characters represent how the creator wants to be seen by the real cast in the original story. It's their ideal interaction with pre-established characters. And this may be because the creator was lonely. But I believe it's just a form of fantasy fulfillment. After all, it's the fan-creator's dream of participating in an universe that they love. And the wish to participate is a form of dedication and love.
And as long as it makes them happy... perhaps that is enough.
I just avoid what I don't like, that's all.

I don't think it's strange in the part of the creator to create Mary Sue characters at all. It's a form of living in a fantasy life. And most of us who are creative have some kind of fantasy life somewhere. That's also why a lot of people who write fan-fiction are also involved in role-playing as well. A Mary-Sue character really is a way of role-playing, based on the pre-established environment created by someone else. It's insufferable, but it's not strange.
And it is insufferable for the people who do not partake in the same fantasy world. When an author creates a world, he or she meant to share it with an audience. When it come to fan-fiction, there is only one intended audience member - and that's the author himself/herself. In the bid to decrease their own loneliness, the fan-fiction authors have created a fantasy-for-one. In essence this makes the author even more lonely. But it also means the friends they hope to have are now taken over by their own versions of other people's characters. Occasionally the authors will have readers who read these fiction because they like the original environment ("Fandom"). That's an added bonus, and not the original intended result.
You might say I have a rather different point of view on fan-fiction in general.
I don't read fan-fiction at all. And I have only written them in collaboration with someone else (2 stories in total.) But if action speaks louder than words, it's not difficult to see what motivates people to take up a pen (or pick up a keyboard) to write the kind of things they wanted to write.
In the meantime... Once again, it's nice meeting you. And you are more than welcome.

I´m Totally agree with the "Fan-Fiction" Point and I really apreciate the other opinions because I dont Really get the fics...IDK...Maybe its because I will not get the point of (in this case) Being "somthing special". But anyways I get your point.
Thanks.

Just like you, I didn't really "get" fan-fiction for a long time. Some of my friends are really enthusiastic about reading them and writing them, but I never understood it. It wasn't until one of my friends who likes reading them told me why she reads them that I start to understand. And then it started to all make sense. My friend reads them because she likes to know how other people think And she told me that reading fan-fiction is great for that purpose.
... I guess I learned from that, too.
You're more than welcome!

But usually fanfictions aren't that good even if they are based on popular characters or popular cartoons or movies or games .... I understand why they are existing , it's a human wish to be part of something i-real , something that they aren't , to have superpowers , to be adored by others or to be feared , or to be part of a fantasy world , etc. It's the reason why comics , movies cartoons and games exist , it's the reason why ppl try to bring to live virtual reality . Some are good at showing these dreams in an interesting way ... and some aren't that good .I wish ppl could explain their fantasy exactly as they imagine it , coz many times what we write , or draw isn't exactly what we imagine .... probably that is why when we write something, after a while, we feel ashamed when reading what we've written , thinking " how could i have written this ?! "
Hope what i wrote made sense

You are right. Most of the time the fanfictions aren't very well written. But that's not because of the fact that they are writing fanfiction. It's because these are young writers who haven't figured out how to write yet. You see... I see things slightly differently. People have liked Sherlock Holmes for a long time. And a lot of really talented writers have written fanfiction for Sherlock Holmes. August Darleth (who was an author himself) wrote the "Solar Pons" stories featuring Sherlock Holmes as the main character and they were great. Nicholas Meyer (who was also an author) wrote a fanfiction of Sherlock Holmes called "The Seven Percent Solution." And it was so well-written that it was turned into a movie. The French author Maurice LeBlanc who wrote the Arsene Lupin stories had Sherlock Holmes show up twice in the long-running series. So that counts as fanfiction, too. But they were two of the most exciting stories from the whole series. So I believe fanfiction by itself isn't a bad thing. But the people who are writing it aren't good.
A lot of the times people write the story because they personally love the characters in the original. But they love a certain version and want to change the original character to their own vision in order to love. Professional authors love the original characters so much that they don't want to change at all. They just want new adventures and new stories when the author isn't writing (or is already dead, for example). A lot of fanfiction is pretty awful. But that's because the writers, not because they are writing fanfiction. If they used the same techniques to write about their own, imagined universe... it'll probably come out pretty awful, too...

Exactly , but you will never know if your idea is good if you do not write it , so , even if it's fanfiction , if you can keep the atmosphere of the original and still add something new in the same time, than you will write something good :3
So even if you write fanfictions it's still good to write them coz you never know , maybe they are good and with them you keep the characters alive even after the original story ends :3

You are right. That's why a lot of people actually say writing fanfiction is not a bad thing. Since they are not going to get any money for doing it, they should write fanfiction to get the readers' attention so they can get good feedback. They can also use the concept of fanfiction to practice their writing. Eventually when they have become better, I think most people will move on to writing about their own world and their own stories.
I used to be very against fanfictions - just like you, I think the people who write them are too lazy to come up with any thing themselves. But I read an article about how important fans are to a franchise (fandom) and I was reminded that Sherlock Holmes had a lot of really great fanfiction. That's when my opinion started to change. Of course, there are still much more horrible fan stories than good ones. But it's a learning process. And everybody needs to learn somehow, right?
