Piko 5/6315 - Steam locomotive Type 81 no. 81.340 (modified)

As mentioned before, Piko's Type 81, while representative for a standard DB Class 55 engine, needs a number of modifications to properly represent a Belgian engine.

Aside from the smoke damper, some little touches liven up the locomotive. In order to somewhat conceal the older, larger engine which takes up much of the cab, I inserted a driver figure into the cab window.

I also scratch-built a coal shovel. It's pretty fiddly work in 1/87 scale. x_x
