I made this because a friend asked.
I hope it is helpful. If you liked this, I will be making a tutorial on how to color soon...That one will be even huger @w@;

What program do you use? I only have Paint.NET, Paint, and GIMP 2.6, and I've no idea how to do digital art...I guess I'm a pencil artist at heart.
But even then, I can't draw as well as you can *sad* - then again, I've only discovered the manga/anime stuff three months ago...
Anyways, let's stop the self-pity! Can you add more tutorials? This is one of the most useful ones I've come across, and I'd appreciate it~!
*Also, what software do you use, and how to download it? And maybe how to work it? Tips are appreciated!

I usually use Paint Tool SAI, but I will use Photoshop and MS Paint from time to time.

Umm what does clipping mean? Sorry if this is a stupid question

Clipping makes it so that anywhere you draw goes over only the layer you clip it on.
Say, you draw a flower in just red, but you want to gradient on shading without it doing over the flower. You just make a new layer, clip it, and it only colors over the flower. : >

it just makes sure that you don't go out of the lineart boundaries ^^ just select clipping group~
