I think the only problem with a hovertank would be combating the recoil, but I imagine some form of kinetic dampeners are present in the hover units. Really liking the morphing treads to switch between speed and mobility, that's a really clever touch.

Probably has inertial dampers cranked to max to prevent the think from flying 50-100 feet backwards from a single shot! Though that be kinda hilarious...and a flaw in the tank...I mean, think about it.
