Description My first scene in 3D Studio Max, I used to work with Truespace a lot, but switched in 2003. It was a pain to create, it took me about 60 hours because of the steep learning curve. At the end I'm reasonable happy with it, but it deserves a good swamp scene, and I just dont have the time to create that. The water in this picture could be a lot better also.) I really should do another render of it sometime...

The first nautical model i have seen for a while that actually looks real. Anyone who has ever been on a real modern warship should feel a certain familiarity with this model. I know i do.

Oh, by 'bendable exhaust' do you mean a 'thrust vectoring exhaust'?

Very impressive and unique design. Even if the BG isn't your first coice, it still looks great and frames the overall vehicle. Great work : )

yeah I went from 3ds v4 for dos to TrueSPACE cos i didn't like the max interface at first but never liked the TrueSPACE interface after version 4.3 so never went to 5 or 6 but I wanna get to grips with volumetrics and stuff .. wanna get better at texturing and that and max has a better texture interface then TrueSPACE
