Description
A new type of carrier for the new century. Medium-sized, heavily automated, increased survivability and protection. Majority of the air wing is typically composed of autonomous attack drones. The craft complement is fully VTOL-capable by default, and the ship operates more like a helicarrier than a conventional aircraft carrier.

Very cool design^^ I support the idea of a quantatiy-start-deck and a single economic-starter-rail to spare off fuel/energy. I just guess a effective maglev acceleration on very high speed would possibly stress the material of the drones a lot. Also the strong EM-field may interfer the sensors or may cause a electromagnetic red cross over the ship(what surely can be bypassed by more detailed technology describtions i can imagen so ... no prob, just wanted to point at something technical xD).

let me explain how it's even worse than you think :^)
1)see below, all craft complement is fully VTOL-capable, so those three drones near the superstructure are actually already in the launch position. It's operates like a helicarrier more than a conventional carrier.
2)what you probably think is a lane is actually not a lane at all, the nose is occupied by an EML/maglev that can be used to launch either drones or cruise missiles, all so they can go SANIC FASD and get that first strike in
