From Gundam Seed Destiny, I've been working on this thing on and off for months, but probably started 10 years ago when I first started throwing polys together for a basic ship. I essentially stopped (because of life) and thus haven't been in this kind of development in so long I forgot how to go about it, so the last few months have been basically a ramp-up on what I've forgotten and what I didn't know yet. It's not done: I really want to finish the crew of people for this and a few other details, but as far as milestones go, I'm calling it.Related:

The ship here is basically super similar in many ways to the Takemikazuchi, but with contemporary attributes and visuals. Also, it's hulkier, which I might term as an "artists interpretation" and some of the bits and bobs won't appear as they do on the show. Guns/Cannons: those things appear more analogously to the way you might see them on a navy ship nowadays. The companion ships (Aegis class [has astray on them] and Kuraomikami class) were also sort of thrown together, as I don't have solid information on much as far dimensions.

The flagship in the Anime for this fantasy country, it's interesting in that it can hold a great number of Murasame (airplane/airfoil/Mobile armor configuration) but that the design is different than a contemporary, especially in the number of catapults, their location and the type of catapults as well as the mystery of the non-contemporary parts (those wing-y things that stick out from the side). The breaking/destruction of the port side wing later in the anime causes the ship to list significantly before ultimately sinking at the hands of the sword impulse. I really liked the ship but despised that it was taken out so easily/quickly in the show.
The flight deck is interesting in that the ship mechanics indicate an induction linear catapult, whereas the show seems to give the impression (visually) of the water-pressure version, mostly because of the vapor. Further, the deck does not leave room or intended clearance for landing of a conventional aircraft.
Mobile Suits:
M1 Astray - I took the Astray that I put together (geez, over a decade ago!) and trimmed it down significantly -- both to save on file size but to cover the concept of a "production level" mobile suit. It still looks similar but takes some guidelines from the M1 Astray in the removal/rearranging of detail. The shield is basically the same. There are 20 or so in this shot. They still look Perfect Grade hulky, but without the detail. The striker pack is basically the same on cooked up a while ago for the Astray but toned down and given foldable rotary wings. I believe the Anime does NOT fold them, but I chose to in order to save space and increase the number I could add to the deck.

Murasame - Transformable mobile suit (All Mobile Armor configuration in this deviation) - the Murasame I used in other deviations is updated a bit to nuance for parking on the ship and for extra detail, but also to trim down the polygons. There is 1 AWACS version on the flight deck, but otherwise 20 to 23 normal variants on the deck itself.
