Yeah.... I'm impatient X3 I already made a team. And a backstory for them!
...You have no idea how long I've been waiting to play as a Riolu. And I chose Meowth as my partner. Cuz Meowths are cool.B)
Anyway, profile time!

Nami: A human-turned-Riolu with no memory of anything about herself or where she came from. She has a wave-like marking on her chest, along with black spikes on her hands instead of white ones. The wave marking is how she got her name. Her partner decided to name her "Nami" which means "wave." She has a strong sense of justice, loves to be dramatic, and has a cheerful disposition.

Nami's Partner: ...Does not have a name yet XD I haven't decided on one. I need HELP.
Anyway, he was a petty theif who made money off of constant pickpocketing and making deals with criminals of higher rank. To make things interesting, I decided to put him in the same world as Kara and Taro, but he didn't really pay attention to newspapers much unless it concerned him. One day he was traveling around and came upon Treasure Town, which is actually quite wealthy at this point.(Note: This takes place a little after Kara "died" and before she was ressurected) He decided to try and steal from Duskull's bank, but he was spotted and chased to Sharpedo Bluff. Not wanting to let go of his precious loot and be caught, he jumped off the cliff. Some time later, he wakes up washed up on the same beach he had seen from the cliff... But it wasn't. He had somehow been transported to another world, a world where Kara never became Grovyle's partner, Taro never joined the Guild, and a Riolu with strange markings became his only friend...
Overall, he's mischeivious and quite greedy(at the start of the story, at least), but he has a kind heart underneath it all. If you want to relate his personality to some other character, let's say the Artful Dodger from Oliver Twist.

Well now, isn't this interesting! I seem to have given the partner a bigger role than the hero! How strange!

...No idea how this is going to work out XD Just to let you guys know, these two WILL end up together. I LOVE HeroxPartner, and I'm not planning to do any serious stories/comics with them for the time being.
