Description (these are the plans I had for the final chapter, up until the death scene that I'm sure you all saw coming. Taskedangel was awesome enough to write that part out!)

Final chapter: Olive and Blackie enter the last chamber to find Trauma weakened and crying, Kuro standing over her. Olive confronts him with everything he's done, asking why he would ever do such horrible things. Kuro, wanting her and Blackie to know so they can spread the word if they survive, explains his master plan. As it turns out, the dead Misfortune was not an Absol at all, but a Mew in disguise. Despair, being an Absol, was also quite powerful, so his blood was taken as a little bonus. (Zan was watching these murders the whole time, teleporting their blood when they were torn open.) Trauma, therefore, being the daughter of a Mew and an Absol, has very powerful traits running through her blood. He plans to tear her apart like the others, and then he will use the collected blood to transform himself into a god worthy of overpowering Arceus himself, courtesy of his own personal Luminous Stone shard. The natural disasters Zan caused were merely to heighten Trauma's senses so she would be exceptionally powerful when they killed her. His motivation is that he has seen so much cruelty in this world Arceus created that he believes he, personally, could do a better job as ruler, and would make sure that no Pokemon was ever cruel to another again. But Olive retorts that he has forgotten about free will, and no Pokemon would ever be complete without it. She also says that Zan is no longer on his side, so he will not be able to collect Trauma's blood. At this, he is shocked, and calls for Zan. She doesn't reply. Outraged at the betrayel, he seizes Trauma and carves a long gash in her side (not enough to kill her, but still a lot of blood) over a stone basin where he kept the blood of her parents. Tossing Trauma's body aside, he slices apart his own chest and pores the Absol blood into and over his own body, clinging to the Luminous Stone as he does so. (Olive and Blackie are watching all of this, and are of course absolutely horrified.) Kuromaru is transformed into a being that would later come to be known as Darkrai. Ooooooh, twist! Olive and Blackie are quick to attack after that, but Kuro simply snaps his fingers and the demon within Kay, who is now in bandages, emerges once again. She knocks Zoe out of the way and comes to join the battle on Kuromaru's side. Epic final battle time. Olive fights Kay, Blackie fights Darkrai/Kuro. At some point during the battle, Zan re-enters the room, out of worry for both Blackie and Kuro. It comes to a point where Blackie is seriously injured, and Olive is too busy holding off Kay to help him. Kuro prepares for the final blow. But just at that instant Zan flies between them, taking an attack to the chest from Kuro. Horrified, Kuro can only stare as Zan gives him a few parting words (something along the lines of "we had a dream once") and stabs him in the heart, killing him. Now Zan lays dying and sobbing over her dead love, with Blackie, Olive, and the now-awake Kay standing over her

(and here's what TA sent me

"Blackie, my death is not in vain. Though I beg forgiveness for my alliance with Kuromaru, it has helped me in ways..." Zan gasped for air as blood oozed out of her wounds. She turned her head slightly towards Olive. "For many years, Kuromaru has helped me develop my hidden powers. It was with that that I could cause those natural disasters. he heightened by ability beyond anyone's imagination..." Zan then closed her eyes. Olive's heart skipped a heartbeat, thinking that Zan was dead. However, Zan opened them once more, and Olive found tears in the aquamarine irises.
"Blackie, will you.. will you forgive me for all I've done? For my lies, my secrets, my betrayal of my friends? For not trusting my own brother...?"
Blackie's eyes were unusually wet. He bent down over zan's face and lifted a bloody paw, touching her scar ever so gently. "I forgive you. in turn, I... I'd like to say... I'm sorry.. for all I've ever said and done to you..."
Zan smiled a smile that hinted at a tinge of regret. "thank you.. and for my parting gift..." She stretched out her shaking paw towards Olive and Kay.

"...With my death, I take away the Wind from this world."

Afterwards, there's this big whooshing sound and blah blah, some awesome descriptions of the wind and how it all gets "sucked into" (?) Zan would help. :3

(Aww, poor Zan. I really did care about her as a character, you know. She was my baby. Anyway, epilogue time! Taskedangel wrote this part as well, and it's perhaps my favorite contribution of her's. She did a great job.

Several months had passed after the final battle with Kuromaru. An autumn breeze blew through Pokemon Square, now getting even chillier as late fall slowly shifted to winter. In front of Team Azul's base, Olive, Kay, Zoe, and Sky were goofing around in a giant pile of leaves, After the downfall of Kuromaru and Zan's death, natural disasters were scarce, giving the team little work to do.

"Muahahaha! Take this Leaf Blade attack!" Kay jumped up in mock insanity, shooting a Pecha leaf from each paw and instantly bursting into hysterical laughter as Sky took a blow to the head. Shaking the leaf off, Sky grinned and kicked up more leaves in Kay's face. "I'm getting back at you with a Mud-Slap attack! haha!" Zoe joined in with Sky, bombarding Kay with sticks ("BONEMERANG!!!" she cried). Olive excused herself from the play and sat under an almost-bare Kelpsy berry tree, reminiscing what had happened the night Kuro had been defeated.

Olive's wounds had been tended to by Zoe and many of the other villages after she came back from Mt. Freeze with Trauma and Blackie, carrying Zan's body. She had then fallen asleep, when the familiar pastel-colored dream came back to her. A crescent-moon shaped figure emerged from the mist.

"Cresselia!" Olive exclaimed, but the Legendary's expression was not one of relief, but one of anger and annoyance.

"How foolish of myself to trust you!" She fumed at the shuddering Eevee, her voice echoing through the dreamy mist. "You have failed your mission! Kuromaru was not destroyed before he transformed himself into a Legendary! He will surely come back, and now it will be near impossible for me to erase him from this world! Oh, why did I v think of asking you for help?! Listen to me now, young Eevee. I shall curse you for all eternity! You will never be able to contact the Legendaries again, and you will never again be the world's hero!!"

Olive could not believe her ears. Kuromaru was not destroyed? Zan had given up her life to protect Blackie and kill her love! Olive was hurt by Cresselia's harsh words. But one thing nagged at the edge of her mind, and she quickly asked Cresselia before the dream disappeared.

"Cresselia... Kuromaru used to be able to walk into my dreams when he was an ordinary Zangoose. Is there a chance he might be able to do that in his new form? Because if there is, I'm powerless against him! Even if I won't be the world's hero ever again, I still want to try my best to help the Pokemon around me! But how can I rescue Pokemon who are attacked in their sleep?"

Cresselia looked at Olive, and a small smile crept across her face.
"Ever so considerate of your fellows, even when I cursed you... to tell you the truth, I cannot deny the fact that you were born to be a hero." She dropped a glowing moon shaped feather into Olive's unsuspecting paws. Then she slowly disappeared into the mist. "Olive, give that Lunar Wing to your successor as the World's Hero. I'm sure he will put it to good use..." Olive had woken up at that precise moment to find Cresselia's last gift in her clutched paws.

Olive now sat under the bare tree, smiling at the memories of the last months. Was it merely a coincidence, or was it Cresselia's bidding? The young Caterpie who so longed to join Team Azul many months ago, had come back from Howling Forest with a lost Togepi, whom all had believed to be dead. its mother , overjoyed at her child's return, praised the new hero. Soon after that he had evolved into a respectable Butterfree, and Olive decided she would accept him into Team Azul as a leader. On the day of his ascent in rank, Olive held up the Lunar Wing for all the guests to see. The feather shone brilliantly in the sunlight. The Butterfree beamed as Olive gave him Cresselia's gift. "this was a present from Cresselia to me," Olive explained. "If you ever encounter a fellow Pokemon who seems to be having bad dreams, use this. It will come in handy, I'm sure of it." Holding the Lunar Wing proudly in his front hands, the new leader of Team Azul bowed to the villagers, amidst large peals of applause and cheering.

Now that Butterfree and his pals Beautifly and Dustox were taking care of most of the missions, Olive and her friends were enjoying their little "retirement". Olive stood up from her place under the tree and started to walk back to the leaf pile when she noticed a dark shadow behind one of the trees. Turning to the side, she noticed it was Blackie.

"what are you doing here?" Olive asked as casually as she could.
Blackie merely shot a dark look at her and padded towards her, saying nothing.
After Zan's death, Blackie had not uttered a single word except "I'm sorry..." on the day of her funeral. The villagers of Pokemon Square had made Zan's final resting place next to the Pelipper Post Office, near the ocean and the setting sun. Dugtrio had helped with the digging, and even the greedy Kecleon brothers brought beautiful orbs and scares to decorate her grave with. The whole ceremony had been done in sacred silence, with only Alakazam's dep voice recounting good memories of Zan, along with the crashing of waves underneath the cliff. Of all the mourners that came that day. Blackie had cried the most, sobbing silently.

Blackie took a deep breath and sighed. "Uh, Olive. I cam to say that I'm going to leave this village."

Olive gasped in disbelief. "Wait, what? Why?"

"I have to many painful memories here. And let's face it, the villagers hate me as much as you do."

Olive was taken aback at this comment. "Hey, wait, that's not true! We'd love to have you here with us! You're our friend!"

Blackie's mouth tugged slightly at the corners, but his expression remained solemn. "I don't think I can stand to.. you know... be so near her grave..." Olive noticed his nose twitching uncomfortably, and knew she should stop trying to hold him back.
"Oh.. okay.." Olive felt here eyes fill with hot tears. "Well, if that's what you want to do..." Blackie stepped backwards a bit and looked straight at Olive. "well, thanks... World's Hero." And then he was gone. A wisp of black shadow swirled around the trees and disappeared into thin air.

A single tear rolled down and splashed onto the leaf-colored ground. Tears streamed down Olive's face, and for a moment she could not see in front of her.
A hazy silhouette of another Pokemon swam in front of her blurry vision. "Blackie?" She called, hoping, praying, that maybe he'd reconsidered.

"what'cha doing here crying, Olive?" It was Kay. Swallowing her disappointment, Olive succumbed to Kay's friendly hug, all the while hiccupping and sniffling. "Blackie... he's gone... he's gone forever and.. I never got to tell him that...!"
"There there, Olive," Kay patted her partner on the shoulder. "Think positive, mate. You know? Look at that sky." Kay pointed to the cloudy blue expanse over their heads, which was slowly turning orange and the red. "Look at that sun," Kay pointed to the setting sun in the direction of Xatu's cliff in the Great Canyon. "..And look at the sea." Kay pointed towards the sea across the square, where Zan rested. "Wherever he is, we all share the same sky, the same sun, and the same saltwater. Wherever we go in this world, we're connected. So don't feel so down, Olive. Because we all live under the same stars, the same moon... the same hopes. The same dreams. The same wish that peace will be amongst us Pokemon for ever and ever...."
Something white and fluffy floated down onto Olive's nose. Wiping her eyes, she looked up and saw the first flakes of snow falling form the purple clouds above.
"Hey, it's snowing!" Kay exclaimed, awed at the flurry of snowflakes slowly turning their surroundings white. Olive dried the rest of her tears and looked up at the clouds. The sunset gleamed marvelously through the clouds, dying the falling snow orange and casting lavender shadows on the ground.

"Winter's already here... Oh Olive, I'm so glad you decided to stay with us in our world. Isn't it... Isn't it just so beautiful?"

Olive nodded. "This world is so peaceful and happy. I don't know what Kuromaru meant when he said how cruel the world is, and how it can't be mended…"

She took a breath, and in that space Kay finished her thought. "Because as long as there's rescue teams, and good Pokemon out there, and heck, as long as there's ANYONE willing to help at all, there's gonna be hope, isn't there?"

Olive could only smile, settling closer to her friend.

As the Pikachu and the Eevee sat mareling at the snow and the sunset beyojd the lowest parts of the Great Canyon, another figure was sitting on a faraway hillside watching the snow fall as well. A Pokemon with black wings sprouting from its back...

I feel kinda stupid i didn't check my dA watch sooner but I had almost given up hope for this... and to sum up this ending I love it and feel sorry for Olive and Blackie, losing Zan and then parting ways like that... still and amazing story though!

Great job, glad to see you finally get this one all done. I actually didn't see the Darkrai thing coming. Makes me wonder about the first picture you posted on this account. O.o I kind of wish Olive and Blackie had ended up together, but I guess it leaves it open anyway. And at least he didn't die after all. I kind of wish it wasn't over in a way but it's a good thing too yes. Feel like finishing that fanart for this one now. XD
No problem for all the support, thanks for finishing and sharing this great story with everyone. Keep up your creative works.

Because most of this was my dumb stupid 13-year-old brain writing, even though a bunch of it happened when I was 14 and 15, and I forgot! Honestly, I probably would've killed off Sky anyway if I hadn't promised to only kill off one main character.
